David Keith Rinehart

David Keith Rinehart, 62 years old, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, Missouri after a 4 ½ year battle with cancer.

David was born September 26, 1959 in Brookfield, Missouri to Melvin “Keith” and Sharon Jane (Miller) Rinehart. He was baptized into Christ and a member of the United Methodist Church in Milan, Missouri. He graduated from Milan High School in 1977. Before purchasing Rinehart Auto Parts from his parents in 1992, David had been managing the store and had worked there from the age of 16.

David married Linda “Machelle” Noel on June 22, 2002 in Unionville, Missouri. They made their home together just across the Sullivan County line in Putnam County, Missouri. They loved to ride motorcycles all over the country together, Machelle following David on her trike.

David and his daughter, Ashley, enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, jeep rides, hunting, going to races and just doing everything together.

David enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing with his grandchildren. His grandchildren loved to crawl up into his lap and look at the computer with Papa.

David is survived by his daughter Ashley Lynn (Rinehart) Tipton and husband Jeff of Jackson, Missouri, son Bradley Eugene Hines and wife Jessie of Unionville, Missouri, and daughter Stacy Machelle (Hines) Meinke and husband Troy of Princeton, Missouri; grandchildren, Madison Tipton, Sydney Tipton, Hollie Hines, Owen Hines, Thomas Meinke, and Clara Meinke; two sisters, Becky Williams and husband Bobby and Megan Courtney and husband Jeff, one sister-in-law, Betsy Noel-Alexander; and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter in infancy, Elisha Dawn Rinehart; one granddaughter in infancy, Sierra Machelle Andrews; and one brother-in-law, Mike Noel.

Funeral services for David will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at First Christian Church in Unionville. Burial will follow at the Union Church Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled from 6- 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan.
