TORONTO 4 – Vegas 0… Goalie Jack Campbell stopped all 26 shots and the Maple Leafs breezed past the Golden Knights. Auston Matthews found the net twice. Mitch Marner set up both goals and added one of his own. William Nylander had a goal and an assist.

MONTREAL 3 – Detroit 0… Goalie Jake Allen stopped 22 shots in his second shutout of the season and the Canadiens skated past the Red Wings. Nick Suzuki had a goal and two assists.

PHILADELPHIA 3 – Arizona 0… Sean Couturier broke a scoreless tie early in the third period and the Flyers went on to blank the winless Coyotes. Carter Hart stopped all 29 shots at goal. Claude Giroux had a goal and an assist.

MINNESOTA 5 – Ottawa 4 (OT)… Kirill Kaprizov netted his first goal of the season 2:02 into overtime to lift the Wild over the Senators. Marcus Foligno found the net twice. Cam Talbot had 24 saves at goal.

WINNIPEG 4 – Dallas 3 (SO)… The Jets recovered to outlast the Stars after blowing a two-goal third-period lead. Mark Scheifele scored the decisive goal in the shootout.

Nashville 3 – CALGARY 2 (OT)… Matt Duchene scored at 1:37 of overtime and the Predators ended the Flames’ six-game win streak. Duchene also assisted on Filip Forsberg’s first-period goal. Goalie Juuse Saros stopped 38 shots.

VANCOUVER 3 – N.Y. Rangers 2 (OT)… The Canucks came from two goals down in the third period to outlast the Rangers. J.T. Miller put Vancouver on the board with a third-period goal and netted the game-winner at 2:22 of overtime. Conor Garland had two assists.

ANAHEIM 4 – New Jersey 0… Troy Terry had two goals and an assist to extend his point streak to nine games and lead the Ducks past the Devils. Goalie John Gibson stopped all 28 shots.

SAN JOSE 5 – Buffalo 3… Tomas Hertl scored two goals and set up another as the Sharks handled the Sabres. Mario Ferraro had a goal and an assist.
