Houston 9 – BOSTON 1… The Astros breezed past the Red Sox to take a 3-2 lead in the American League Championship Series. Yordan Alvarez had three hits, including a solo homer, and knocked in three runs. Yuli Gurriel also had three hits and three RBIs. Framber Valdez allowed just a run on three hits over eight innings. The series returns to Houston for Game 6 tomorrow.

NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES GAME 4…
Atlanta 9 – L.A. DODGERS 2… Eddie Rosario went 4-or-5 with a pair of homers and four RBIs as the Braves pounded the Dodgers to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the NLCS.  Freddie Freeman and Adam Duval also went deep for Atlanta. Six Atlanta pitchers allowed just four hits. Los Angeles hasn’t named a starter for tonight’s Game 5. Left-hander Max Fried, who went 14-7 during the regular season and won his only postseason decision, gets the start for Atlanta. Gametime from Dodger Stadium is 8:08 p.m. Eastern and the game airs on TBS.
