NFL Scores Sunday 10-17

NFL SCORES…
JACKSONVILLE 23 – Miami 20… Matthew Wright booted a 53-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Jaguars (1-5) over the Dolphins (1-5) and end Jacksonville’s 20-game losing streak. The game was played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.  Trevor Lawrence was 25 of 41 for 319 yards and a touchdown.

Green Bay 24 – CHICAGO 14… Aaron Rodgers threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in leading the Packers (5-1) past the Bears (3-3). The victory kept Green Bay aloe atop the NFC North.

Cincinnati 34 – DETROIT 11… Joe Burrow threw three touchdown passes and the Bengals (4-2) kept the Lions (0-6) winless. Defensively, Cincinnati held Detroit scoreless in the first half.

INDIANAPOLIS 31 – Houston 3… Carson Wentz hit Perris Campbell with a 51—yard touchdown pass to open the scoring and threw 28 yards to Mo Alie-Cox for a third-quarter score as the Colts (2-4) routed the Texans (1-5). Jonathan Taylor ran for two more scores.

L.A. Rams 38 – N.Y. GIANTS 11… Matthew Stafford hit Carson Kupp with two of his four passes and the Rams (5-1) cruised past the Giants (1-5). Stafford was 22-of-28 for 251 yards. Kupp finished with nine receptions for 130 yards. Safety Taylor Rapp had two interceptions on defense.

Kansas City 31 – WASHINGTON 13… Patrick Mahomes overcame two first-half interceptions to lead the Chiefs (3-3) past Washington (2-4). Mahomes found Tyreek Hill and Demarcus Robinson with second-half touchdown passes. Darrel Williams ran for a pair of scores.

Minnesota 34 – CAROLINA 28 (OT)… The Vikings (3-3) recovered to down the Panthers (3-3) after blowing a 10-point lead in the final minutes of regulation. Kirk Cousins threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to K.J. Osborn on the first possession of overtime. Cousins also hit Chris Herndon and Adam Thielen with scoring tosses.  Thielen finished with 11 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown. Dalvin Cook ran for 140 yards and a TD.

BALTIMORE 34 – L.A. Chargers 6… The Ravens (5-1) controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball in thrashing the Chargers (4-2) in a matchup of division leaders. Lamar Jackson threw for 167 yards and a touchdown. Veteran running backs Latavius Murray, Le’Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman all ran for TDs.

Arizona 37 – CLEVELAND 14… DeAndre Hopkins hauled in two of Kyler Murray’s four touchdown passes and the Cardinals (6-0) remained unbeaten with the win over the Browns (3-3). Arizona was without coach Kliff Kingsbury and linebacker Chandler Jones due to coronavirus protocol.

Las Vegas 34 – DENVER 24… Derek Carr passed for 341 yards and two touchdowns as the Raiders (4-2) snapped a two-game skid and dealt the Broncos (3-3) their third straight loss. Maxx Crosby led the defense with three sacks.

Dallas 35 – NEW ENGLAND 29 (OT)… Dak Prescott hit CeeDee Lamb with a 35-yard touchdown in overtime to send the Cowboys (5-1) past the Patriots (2-4). Cornerback Trevon Diggs returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Greg Zuerlein’s 49-yard field goal at the end of regulation forced the extra period.

PITTSBURGH 23 – Seattle 20 (OT)… Chris Boswell kicked a 36-yard field goal with 2:50 left in overtime to push the Steelers (3-3) past the Seahawks (2-4). The winning kick came three plays after Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt forced Seattle quarterback Geno Smith to fumble deep in Seattle territory.
