Cards Rained Out, Twin Bill Wednesday

The Cardinals and Reds were rained out Tuesday and will try to play a split seven inning double header Wednesday.  Last night’s scheduled starter, Miles Mikolas, will get the start in game one this afternoon, 11:15 with the pregame and the first pitch at 12:10.

Then game two will feature J.A. Happ for the Cardinals, 4:45 with the pregame and the first pitch at 5:40, both on KIRX.

First place Milwaukee leads second place Cincinnati by 10 games, the third place Cardinals are 12 1/2 back.

In the wild card, the Dodgers are the number one team, 13 games in front of the Reds and the Padres who are tied for the number two slot. The Cardinals and the Phillies are both 2 1/2 games behind.
