Denise Hamilton, 69, of Unionville, MO, passed away at the Putnam County Care Center on June 18, 2021.
Denise was born on January 27, 1952, in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Dayton and Patricia (Perrin) Smith. Denise was a lifetime resident of Putnam County and graduated from the Unionville High School. She married Dayton Hamilton and he preceded her in death in 1990. In addition to her lifetime of being a homemaker, catering to her family, Denise was a Mary Kay Consultant. Denise was also a talented seamstress and painter. She loved her card-playing weekends with friends and socializing at the local coffee shops. Her most precious time was spent doting over her grandchildren and spending time taking in their many activities.
Denise Hamilton is survived by her sons Nevin Hamilton and wife Toni, and Stacy Hamilton and wife Amanda, all of Lucerne, MO. Denise’s surviving grandchildren are Dayton, Dylan, Avery, Easton, Dade, and Evett Hamilton. Denise is also survived by a sister-in-law, Tina Smith of Unionville, MO, and a nephew Nathan Smith and wife Hannah.
In addition to her parents and husband, Denise was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Smith; niece, Katrina Smith; and nephew Todd Smith.
Interment will be at the Unionville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville, MO.
