Cards And Royals Back Tonight After A Monday Rest

The St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals both had Monday off, but both return to action Tuesday night.  St. Louis begins a two game interleague series at Detroit.  Johan Oviedo gets the start for the Cardinals, 5:15 with the pregame and the first pitch at 6:10 on KIRX.

The Royals begin a ten day road trip, getting started at New York against the Yankees.  Brady Singer against Gerrit Cole in game one at 6:05.

The Cubs and Brewers are still tied for first place on top the NL Central, third place St. Louis is 3 1/2 games out, the fourth place Reds are four games off the pace.

In the AL Central, the first place White Sox lead second place Cleveland by just 2 games, the third place Royals are 10 games out.
