PHOENIX 120 – L.A. Clippers 114… The Suns mounted a 12-2 spurt to open the fourth quarter of a tied game and held off the Clippers in the Western Conference finals opener. Devin Booker racked up 40 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists in his first-career triple-double. Deandre Ayton added 20 points. Phoenix was without Chris Paul, who sat out because of COVID-19 health and safety protocols. L.A.’s Kawhi Leonard missed his third straight game because of a sprained right knee. The series remains in Phoenix for Game 2 tomorrow.

Atlanta 103 – PHILADELPHIA 96… The Hawks fought their way past the 76ers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals and advance to visit Milwaukee on Wednesday to open the East finals. Kevin Huerter scored 27 points to lead a balanced scoring attack. Trae Young finished with with 21 points and 10 assists. John Collins grabbed 16 rebounds to go with his 14 points.
