NATIONAL LEAGUE
SAN FRANCISCO 10 – Arizona 3… The Giants handed the Diamondbacks a historic pounding, as it ran their road losing streak to a record 23 games. Curt Casali hit a two-run homer, along with an RBI triple and run-scoring single. Mike Yastrzemski and Mauricio Dubon drove in two runs apiece.

Chi. Cubs 2 – N.Y. METS 0… Kyle Hendricks (9-4) pitched two-hit ball over six innings on his way to winning his seventh straight start. Three relievers held the Mets hitless over the final three innings. Javier Baez provided the game’s only offense with a two-run homer in the top of the first inning.

ATLANTA 4 – St. Louis 0… Charlie Morton (6-3) took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and got help from two relievers in the Braves’ blanking of the Cardinals. Guillermo Heredia hit a two-out solo homer to break a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth inning. Ozzie Albies tripled home a run and scored on Abraham Almonte’s double in the sixth.

SAN DIEGO 6 – Cincinnati 4… The Padres powered their way past the Reds after blowing a two-run ninth-inning lead. Eric Hosmer hit a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth and Victor Caratini followed two batters later with a walk-off two-run blast.

COLORADO 7 – Milwaukee 3… C.J. Cron unloaded a grand slam and Garrett Hampson added a solo blast in the bottom of the first inning and the Rockies cruised past the Brewers. German Marquez (5-6) limited Milwaukee to one hit over six innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
CLEVELAND 10 – Baltimore 3…. Jose Ramirez and Bobby Bradley homered during a three-run bottom of the first inning and the Indians went on to extend the Orioles’ road losing streak to 19 games. Yu Chang singled home two runs and homered with a runner aboard.

N.Y. Yankees 8 – TORONTO 4… Giancarlo Stanton hit a go-ahead two-run homer and pinch-hitter Chris Gittens singled home two runs during a four-run top of the seventh inning that carried the Yankees past the Blue Jays. Gittens added a sacrifice fly in the ninth. Gio Urshela went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer.

HOUSTON 10 – Chi. White Sox 2… Michael Brantley got things going with a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning and the Astros walloped the White Sox. Abraham Toro homered with a runner aboard and singled home two runs. Jose Altuve homered for the fourth time in three games.

L.A. ANGELS 7 – Detroit 5… Taylor Ward’s first career grand slam capped a five-run bottom of the seventh and the Angels held off the Tigers. Shohei Ohtani (3-1) allowed a run on five hits over six innings.

SEATTLE 6 – Tampa Bay 5… The Mariners scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning to upend the Rays. Kyle Seager’s infield single scored Jake Bauers with the winning run. Shed Long Jr.’s RBI double tie the game fr Seattle. Luis Torrens homered to lead off the top of the fifth and Ty France homered with a runner aboard in the sixth.
