AMERICAN LEAGUE
L.A. ANGELS 8 – Kansas City 3… Max Stassi stroked an RBI single during a three-run bottom of the first inning and homered with a runner aboard in the fifth to lead the Angels past the Royals. Starter Dylan Bundy (1-6) held Kansas City to two runs on six hits over 5-2/3 innings.
INTERLEAGUE
BOSTON 5 – Miami 3… The Red Sox took advantage of some sloppy play defensively to top the Marlins. Christian Arroyo singled home a pair of runs during a three-run bottom of the fourth inning.
