KHS Tiger Noah Copeland Wins Male Athlete Of The Year

Our KIRX/KRXL/KTUF Jamco Awards Male Athlete Of The Year is Noah Copeland from Kirksville High School. Copeland had a record setting career in both football and basketball.  Noah led the Tiger football team with 83 catches for 809 yards and 7 touchdowns.  At the linebacker position, Copeland made 48 tackles, securing his spot as a first-team all NCMC selection as a wide receiver, as well as a first-team all Northeast District selection. he accumulated over 2,200 career receiving yards on 200 career catches.  He owns the KHS record for catches and yards in a single season. In basketball, Noah reached the 1,000 point plateau in the Tiger’s season opening win over Centralia, finishing his career with 1,385 points.  He was a force under the basket, setting the new KHS rebounding record in the Tiger’s win over Clark County, finishing his career with 769 boards.  Noah was a first-team all conference selection, first team all Northeast District and an all-state selection in Class 5.  This year, Copeland signed a national letter of intent to play football at Truman State University, following in the footsteps of his dad Matt Copeland, who was an All-American tight end for the Bulldogs in the mid-90’s.  Noah Copeland of Kirksville High School our KIRX/KRXL/KTUF Jamco Awards Male Athlete Of The Year.
