NATIONAL LEAGUE
San Francisco 4 – CINCINNATI 2… Alex Dickerson’s three-run homer in the top of the fourth inning powered the Giants past the Reds. Anthony DeSclafani (4-1) surrendered a run on six hits over seven innings in his return to Cincinnati.

PHILADELPHIA 8 – Miami 3… The Phillies erupted to score seven runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and upend the Marlins. Pinch-hitter Ronald Torreyes came through with a tie-breaking two-run double. Bryce Harper capped the big inning with a two-run single.

N.Y. Mets 4 – ATLANTA 3…Tómas Nido’s two-out solo homer in the top of the ninth inning lifted the Mets over the Braves. Jonathan Villar also homered with the bases empty.

CHI. CUBS 6 – Washington 3… David Bote homered with a runner aboard for the Cubs. Ian Happ also went deep. Wilson Contreras opened the scoring with a two-run single in the bottom of the third inning.

ST. LOUIS 5 – Pittsburgh 2… Nolan Arenado’s fourth homer in four games came with a runner aboard for the Cardinals. Tommy Edman had three hits, including a two-run single.

L.A. DODGERS 9 – Arizona 1… Gavin Lux unloaded his first career grand slam to highlight the Dodgers’ thrashing of the Diamondbacks. Julio Urías (6-1) allowed a run on three hits over 6-2/3 innings.

SAN DIEGO 2 – Colorado 1 (10 innings)… Jorge Mateo raced home with the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Padres outlasted the Rockies. The game featured a dual between San Diego starter Blake Snell and his counterpart Austin Gomber, but neither got a decision.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Tampa Bay 13 – BALTIMORE 6… The Rays pounded out 15 hits in their romp over the Orioles. Mike Zunino hit a pair of two-run homers. Brett Phillips, Austin Meadows and Ji-Man Choi also went deep.

TORONTO 8 – Boston 0… Hyun Jin Ryu pitched four-hit ball over seen innings and three Blue Jays relievers completed the blanking of the Red Sox. Randal Grichuk drilled a two-run homer. Teoscar Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a run-scoring single.

MINNESOTA 5 – Chi. White Sox 4… Miguel Sanó homered three times and Jorge Polanco stroked a walkoff RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Twins came from four runs down to beat the White Sox.

N.Y. Yankees 7 – TEXAS 4… DJ LeMahieu doubled home two runs to cap a five-run top of the fourth inning and lifted a sacrifice fly to lead the Yankees past the Rangers. Gio Urshela knocked in a pair of runs.

Cleveland 6 – L.A. ANGELS 5… The Indians recovered to beat the Angels after blowing an early five-run lead. Josh Naylor smacked a tie-breaking two-out homer in the top of the eighth inning. Jose Ramirez’ two-out homer sparked a five-run top of the first inning.

OAKLAND 6 – Houston 5… Ramón Laureano homered twice and lifted a walkoff sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Athletics came from behind to down the Astros. Matt Olson also went deep for Oakland.

Detroit 5 – SEATTLE 0… Spencer Turnbull (3-2) tossed the fifth no-hitter of the season and the Tigers cruised past the Mariners. Turnbull walked two and struck out nine. Jeimer Candelario provided all the offense Detroit needed with a solo homer in the top of the first inning.
