INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts are signing left tackle Eric Fisher to a one-year, $9.4 million deal to protect new starting quarterback Carson Wentz‘s blind side, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
There’s no doubting Fisher’s playing ability, as the 2013 No. 1 pick has started 113 of the 117 games he has appeared in since entering the NFL.
The question that remains is when Fisher will actually play in a game for the Colts. He suffered a torn Achilles in the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills earlier this year. Fisher also missed half of the 2019 season with a core muscle injury.
