TAMPA BAY 3 – Dallas 0… Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped all 20 shots in the blanking of the Stars. The Lightning got goals from Ondrej Palat, Blake Coleman and Brayden Point.
BOSTON 5 – Buffalo 2… Charlie Coyle scored the first of three unanswered third-period goals that carried the Bruins past the Sabres. David Krejci had a goal and an assist. Tuukka Rask made 29 saves at goal.
NEW JERSEY 5 – Philadelphia 3… Yegor Sharangovich scored two power-play goals in the first period to stake the Devils to an early lead and they skated past the Flyers. Damon Severson set up two goals.
N.Y. Islanders 4 – N.Y. RANGERS 0… Islanders goalie Semyon Varlamov stopped all 25 shots for his NHL-leading sixth shutout of the season and 250th career win. Brock Nelson assisted on two goals.
Pittsburgh 5 – WASHINGTON 4 (OT)… Jake Guentzel found the net 2:11 into overtime to send the Penguins past the Capitals. Kasperi Kapanen scored a pair of goals.
CAROLINA 3 – Detroit 1… The Hurricanes skated past the Red Wings to run their points streak to nine games. Teuvo Teravainen had a goal and an assist.
TORONTO 4 – Vancouver 1… Auston Matthews scored his league-leading 36th goal to highlight the Maple Leafs’ win over the Canucks. Mitchell Marner had a goal and an assist.
Florida 4 – CHICAGO 3 (OT)… Sam Bennett scored at 4:08 of overtime to win it for the Panthers. Alex Wennberg scored a goal and assisted on another.
Calgary 3 – EDMONTON 1… Elias Lindholm scored two goals in leading the Flames past the Oilers. Rasmus Andersson had two assists. Goalie Jakob Markstrom made 30 saves.
