N.Y. ISLANDERS 6 – N.Y. Rangers 1… Josh Bailey found the net twice for the Islanders. Anthony Beauvillier scored a goal and assisted on three others.
Carolina 4 – TAMPA BAY 1… The Hurricanes scored three straight goals in the second period and never looked back in downing the Lightning. Nino Niederreiter had a goal and an assist.
FLORIDA 5 – Columbus 1… Sam Bennett netted a pair of goals for the Blue Jackets. Spencer Knight made 33 saves at goal.
PITTSBURGH 7 – New Jersey 6… The Penguins took a 6-0 lead into the third period and needed an additional goal from Sidney Crosby to get past the Devils.
DALLAS 5 – Detroit 2… Rookie Jason Robertson had a goal and an assist as the Stars won their fourth in a row. Jason Dickinson set up two goals.
VANCOUVER 6 – Toronto 3… Tanner Pearson and Brandon Sutter scored two goals apiece as the Canucks doubled up on the Maple Leafs.
LOS ANGELES 4 – Anaheim 1… Blake Lizotte and Andreas Athanasiou each had a goal and an assist for the Kings.
