Donna Lee Stockham, age 87, of Baring, MO, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born June 29, 1933, in Edina, MO the daughter of Noble Lee and Velma Lee Kidwell Bishop. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Eugene Stockham on May 4, 1952, in Edina, MO and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2002. Donna was also preceded by her parents, brothers Mike, Jack and J.W. Bishop, sisters-in-law Judy Bishop, Carol Lee Bishop, Mary Bishop and Mary Jean Gelbach and brother-in-law Mike McGinnis.
Surviving are three children, Vicki Lynn Mann and husband Bill of Sarasota, FL, Judi Anne Hay and husband Gary of Springfield, MO and Kent Stockham and wife Theresa of Festus, MO, one brother, Dan Bishop and wife Judi of Baring, MO, three sisters, Sue Johnson and husband Dick of Baring, MO, Janice McGinnis of Edina, MO, and Brenda Beckner and husband Mike of Corydon, IA, and seven grandchildren Kevin (Kristin) Mann, Deanna Mann, Rebekah Lotz, Nathan Hay, Raean (Ethan) Brock, Rachel Stockham, Ryan Stockham, three great grandchildren, Keegan Mann, Kinsley Mann and Brayden Lotz. Also surviving is her longtime companion Bruce Normile of Baring, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a mainstay of the Baring Lake community who enjoyed entertaining friends and family at her lake house. She had a personal relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of the Edina Christian Church.
Donna was known as a beautiful woman who defied her age. She was very much a lady and was always put together with her hair, nails and makeup done. She was always meticulously dressed with matching jewelry and accessories.
Donna always kept a tidy and spotless home. She loved growing the most beautiful flower gardens and had a knack for decorating.
She knew where she stood on everything. She was sharp, opinionated and principled. She had an entrepreneurial sprit and was a very successful business woman in her earlier days.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. March 18, 2021in the Hudson-Rimer funeral Home in Edina, MO. Pastor Gary Hay will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m. on March 18, 2021 at Hudson-Rimer funeral Home in Edina, MO.
