Bulldogs Cap Off Regular Season With Win

The third ranked Truman Men’s Basketball team closed its regular season with a tough match against 15-5 Southwest Baptist on Saturday in a battle of top teams in the GLVC. It was knotted 32 all at the half and then a 47-34 surge in the second half gave the Bulldogs the 79-66 victory.

Turner Scott  led the way with 17 points, putting him just four shy of 1,000 for his career. Cade McKnight and Dylan Peeters each had 14.

With this win, the Bulldogs have not lost a regular season game on their home court in two years.

The Bulldogs finish the regular season 18-1 and atop the GLVC. They will host a first round GLVC Tournament game next Wednesday, opponent is still to be announced.
