Both the KHS Tigers and Lady Tigers are seeded 2nd in the upcoming district tournament. At the Class 5 District 15 seeding meeting Saturday morning, the Tigers were named the #2 seed and will host #3 seed Moberly Tuesday, March 2nd at 6:00. MSHSSA COVID rules are allowing the higher seeds to host each district game this season, so both KHS teams will open at home. The Lady Tigers are seeded #2 also, and will host #3 seed Marshall Monday, March 1st at 6:00. The girls championship will be played Thursday, March 4th at 6:00, and the boys championship will be Friday, March 5th. Mexico got the top seed in both brackets. The Moberly and Hannibal girls will battle next Saturday for the right to play at Mexico, the Hannibal and Marshall boys will play next Saturday, with the winner traveling to Mexico.
