Tigers Hold Off Hannibal

The Kirksville Tigers held off Hannibal Friday 66-55 at Tiger Gym. Court Warming was a foul fest, as Hannibal put KHS in the double bonus for most of the fourth period. KHS had trouble at the free throw line, though, which kept the Pirates in the game. The Tigers were 9 out of 16 at the stripe in the fourth, but Noah Copeland went 5 out 6 in the fourth, and Ike Danielson hit a couple big ones late to help the Tigers to the win. Copeland as 8 out of 10 for the night, as a team the Tigers were only 14 out of 24. But the Tigers made just enough to pull away. Copeland finished with 21 points to lead all scorers, 10 points apiece from Danielson and Dylan Kinney. The Tigers are now 12-2 overall, 3-1 in the NCMC.
