The Kirksville Lady Tigers got cold in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and lost to Mexico 39-28 at Tiger Gym Friday. Mexico outscored KHS 24 to 5 in those two quarters combined. Mexico’s defense forced 25 Lady Tiger turnovers. Erica Treasure led KHS with 9 points. Mexico’s Mya Miller led all scorers with 19 points, 10 from Riley Thurman. Kirksville drops to 6-8 overall and 2-2 in the NCMC. Next, the girls travel to Moberly Tuesday for a makeup JV/Varsity double header. Varsity coverage starts at 7:00.
