The Kirksville Lady Tigers won the consolation championship of the Macon Tournament with a dominating performance over arch rival Moberly 78-44. KHS overcame 30 points from Moberly freshman Grace Billington. Billington, however, was the only Spartan who did anything all game as KHS played great defense and forced 16 turnovers. The Lady Tigers outscored Moberly 25-6 in the third quarter to remove any doubt about the outcome. Four Lady Tigers scored in double figures, Jenna Jackson with 16 including five 3 pointers, Erica Treasure also with 16, 15 for Kenslie Stufflebean, and 12 for Erica Treasure. KHS has now won four of their last five and climb to 5-7 on the season. The Lady Tigers are scheduled to host Palmyra Monday night. The varsity girls have not played a home game yet this season, and now we have some nasty weather on the way. Stay tuned for updates!
