KHS Tigers Win Macon Tournament Championship

The Kirksville Tigers won the Macon Tournament championship by beating up on Moberly 85-53 Saturday. It’s the first time since 2003 that KHS has won the boys championship. The Tigers were never threatened, led by 10 at halftime 37-27, and outscored Moberly 27-10 in the final period to put it away. Four Tigers scored in double figures, led by Isaac Danielson with 21 including 5 second half three pointers, Dylan Kinney with 19 including 7 out of 8 at the free throw line. Noah Copeland also with 19, and Lane Feeney with 17 points. The Tigers made 15 out of 21 at the free throw line on the night. KHS climbs to 10-1 on the season and are scheduled to play Palmyra at home Monday.
