The Kirksville Lady Tigers raced out to an early 10-0 lead and were never threatened in a 52-22 win over Brookfield in the Macon Tournament Wednesday. KHS held Brookfield to just 3 points in the fourth, outscoring the Bulldogs 18-3 to close the deal. Balanced scoring for KHS, Jenna Jackson with 10, 8 for Corinne Vorkink and Erica Treasure, 6 each for Channing Totta and Kenslie Stufflebean. A very briskly played game with very little fouling, just one timeout was called, and the game was over in 53 minutes. KHS has won three of their last four and climb to 4-7. The Lady Tigers will take on arch rival Moberly in the 5th place game Saturday afternoon at 1:00, pre-game at 12:45.
