KHS Tigers Romp Over Marceline

The Kirksville Tigers got back on the proverbial winning track with a dominating win over Marceline 69-30 Tuesday in a first round game at the Macon Tournament. The Tigers played run and gun from the start and raced out to a 19-6 lead at the end of the first. KHS outscored Marceline 25-8 in the 2nd take a 44-14 lead at the break and the rout was on. Isaac Danielson led the way with 22 points, Noah Copeland 15, and Keaton Anderson with 10. The Tigers forced 25 Marceline turnovers, while the Tigers committed just seven. KHS climbs to 9-1 and moves to the tournament semifinals Thursday.
