Columbus 3 – DETROIT 2… Pierre-Luc Dubois’ third-period goal proved to be the difference in the Blue Jackets’ win over the Red Wings. Oliver Bjorkstrand had a goal and an assist. Goalie Joonas Korpisalo made 35 saves.
N.Y. ISLANDERS 1 – Boston 0… Jean-Gabriel Pageau netted the game’s only goal with 4:09 remaining. Islanders goalie Semyon Varlamov stopped all 27 shots at goal.
TORONTO 3 – Winnipeg 1… John Tavares and Mitch Marner scored second-period goals for the Maple Leafs. Goalie Frederik Andersen made 27 saves.
Buffalo 6 – PHILADELPHIA 1… Sam Reinhart and Curtis Lazar scored two goals apiece to lead the Sabres in their romp over the Flyers. Jack Eichel had three assists.
Carolina 4 – NASHVILLE 2… Vincent Trocheck and Sebastian Aho scored third-period goals to give the Hurricanes the lead for good in their defeat of the Predators. Andrei Svechnikov had a goal and an assist.
CALGARY 5 – Vancouver 2… The Flames scored three unanswered goals in the third period on their way past the Canucks. Johnny Gaudreau had a goal and an assist.
Montreal 3 – EDMONTON 1… The Canadiens got goals from Alexander Romanov, Shea Weber and Artturi Lehkonen in cruising past the Oilers. Jake Allen stopped 26 shots at goal.
ANAHEIM 1 – Minnesota 0… Nicolas Deslauriers lit the lamp to break a scoreless tie early in the third period and the Ducks made it stand in their win over the Wild. John Gibson had 34 saves in the shutout.
VEGAS 4 – Arizona 2… The Golden Knights rallied past the Coyotes after spotting them a two-goal lead. Reilly Smith scored two of Vegas’ three third-period goals.
