Lady Tigers Drop First Game Of Macon Tournament

Centralia snapped the Lady Tigers two game win streak 52-47 in the first round of the Macon Tournament Monday. The Lady Tigers had an eight point lead in the third quarter before Centralia freshman Morgan Ross took the game upon her shoulders. Ross scored 13 fourth quarter points, on her way to 26 for the game including six three pointers. Kirksville had four players in double figures. Jenna had 13 points, all in the second half, 10 points each for Erica Treasure, Kenslie Stufflebean, and Corinne Vorkink before she fouled out midway through the final period. KHS falls to 3-7 on the year and will play Brookfield in the consolation bracket at 8:30 Wednesday night. Mexico hammered Brookfield Monday 68-26.
