Tigers Survive Tough Game At Hannibal, Stay Unbeaten

The Kirksville Tigers stay unbeaten on the year after a tough victory at Hannibal Friday 64-57. Hannibal grabbed an early 28-11 lead and things looked bleak for Kirksville, but the Tigers roared back to trail by just 5 at the half, 33-28. Hannibal led by just one at the end of the third 46-45. The Tigers outscored the Pirates 19-11 in the fourth and pulled it out 64-57. Dylan Kinney had a fantastic game for KHS, scoring 20 points including four 3 pointers. Another nice game from Isaac Danielson who scored 17, including a couple of clutch free throws in the fourth. Noah Copeland was the other Tiger in double figures with 13. KHS climbs to 8-0 on the season, 2-0 in the NCMC. Saturday, the Tigers travel to Monroe City for a big game against the Panthers. Varsity game only at 2:00, pregame hits the air at 1:45 on KIRX.
