After a short time working for Sam Wallace at his Generator shop, he purchaced the equipment and moved east of Unionville to start his own Fowler Generator shop. After his temporary retirement in 1995 and selling his shop, he finished his working career at KM Bus. He enjoyed driving a bus and looking after the students, like they were one of his own. He spent his ministery career preaching at the Mendota church until he was no longer to attend because of physical limitations.
