Sarah Isabella (Barnhart) Beeler, 95 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.
The daughter of Asa Bannon and Velma Lenore (Oliver) Barnhart, she was born on October 28, 1925 in Glenwood, Missouri. Following her graduation from high school, she was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Beeler on March 29, 1945 in Queen City, Missouri and to this union four children were born, Lynn, Rudy, Sue and Randy.
Sarah is survived by her four children, Lynn Beeler of Queen City, Missouri, Rudy Beeler of Lancaster, Missouri, Sue Devenport and husband, Jerold of Moberly, Missouri and Randy Beeler of Hermitage, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Tacy, Stephanie, Colby and wife, Grace, Brandon and Emily; 6 great grandchildren, Blake, Gavin, Sarah, Brody, Ella and Abbi; three great great grandchildren, Mason, Landon and Brentley; one brother-in-law, Charles Beeler; three sisters-in-law, Violet Smoot, Jean Beeler and Mary Beeler; several nieces and nephews; other family members and many good friends.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Robert Eugene Beeler on July 18, 2013; three sisters, Neva Chaumont, Nita Welsh and Anna Epperson; one sister in infancy, Ida Barnhart; three brothers, James Howard Barnhart, John Barnhart and Oliver Barnhart; four nephews, Billy, J. R., Mark and Matt and one niece, Ronna.
Sarah was a member of the Baptist Church and was a minister’s wife attending the churches her husband, Robert pastored for many years.
A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jimtown Cemetery, southwest of Glenwood, Missouri with Mikel Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Colby Devenport, Brandon Devenport, Sarah Lawson, Brody Asbury, Jeremiah Frederick and Billy Beeler. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Barnhart and Mason Lawson.
