Gary A. Staggs, 82 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Milan Health Care Center in Milan.
Gary was born May 18, 1938 to Sterling and Esther (Allen) Staggs. On February 12, 1966 he married Barbara (Marlay) Staggs, she preceded him in death in 2015. He is also preceded by his parents and In-laws, Earl and Freda Marlay. Gary was survived by many friends.
Gary lived most of his life in the Milan area. After graduating high school, he farmed and milked cows, he loved working and was a hard worker. Gary was an avid collector of guns, Hesston belt buckles, and small antique toy tractors. He enjoyed going to local music shows on the weekends and back in the day liked to go deer and coon hunting. Years ago, Gary was in a CB Radio club.
A graveside service for Gary will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Shatto Cemetery, west of Milan. Friends may come by Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan anytime Friday afternoon.
