The Kirksville Tigers picked up a huge road win at Moberly Friday 72-59. KHS trailed by 8 at one point in the second quarter 27-19, but the Tigers went on an 8-0 run to tie the game, and outscored the Spartans 18-10 in the second to take a 35-30 lead at the break. KHS pulled away in the fourth 17-11 and earned a hard fought win 72-59. Noah Copeland led the way with 27 points, Keaton Anderson with 14, all in the second half. Kirksville climbs to 3-0 on the year and 1-0 in the NCMC. Tiger basketball now goes on pause for the time being, we’ll keep you up to date on a resumption on KIRX and on the page.
