The Truman Men’s Basketball team got back in action this week with an exhibition game at Indiana State, replacing the University of Indianapolis when the Greyhounds had to halt their program activities due to a covid outbreak within their team. The Bulldogs took the place of the Greyhounds and fell to the Sycamores 80-66.
This game was an opportunity for many younger players to showcase their abilities. Eric Northweather, freshman post, led the team with 20 points and had two of the three blocked shots. He shot 7-10 from the field and drained four three pointers. Sam Lock and Ben Cooper were tied for second on the team with 16 points, and each of them also made four treys. Cecil Lee III led the way with eight rebounds and Sam Nissen led with seven assists.
Both Truman teams will be back in action this Saturday in St. Charles as they take on Lindenwood, with a 1:00 anticipated start time.
