In a lengthy meeting of the Kirksville R3 school board Tuesday, the board voted 6-1, with Jeremy Houser casting the lone no vote, to restart athletics at all levels. That means varsity practices will be allowed to resume over the holiday break, with the first varsity basketball games scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd at Centralia. The board also approved a recommendation from Supt. Robert Webb to limit spectators to one person per participant. K-8 will return to level 2 learning Monday, while the High School will remain at level 3 learning for at least another week. All Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball games will be broadcast on KIRX.
