Dwane Truman Pauley

Dwane Truman Pauley, 86 years old, of Trenton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Riverside Nursing and Rehab in Riverside, Missouri.

Dwane was born November 4, 1934 in Sewel, Iowa to Wilbur and Donna (Trumper) Pauley. He married Betty Lou (Frazier) Pauley and they were married for over 60 years before she passed away last month. He was also preceded in death by: His parents; brother, James Pauley and wife Marlys; brothers-in-law, Robert Frazier and Gene Frazier; and sister-in-law, Sharon McNeece.

Dwane was survived by: Two sons, Kevin Pauley and wife Kathy of Peculiar, Missouri and Chad Pauley and wife Cathy of Smithville, Missouri; grandchildren, Summer Summers (Brandon), Jennifer Pauley, Christopher Pauley, Mallory Pauley, and Megan Miller (Jordan); great grandchildren, Sierra Pauley, Emma Greathouse, Rylen Miller, Mya Pauley, Mila Miller, and Corbyn Pauley; sisters-in-law, Clarice and husband Gary Lawrence of Milan and Mary Frazier of Pollock, Missouri; brother-in-law, Lavern McNeece of Harrisonville, Missouri; nephews, Jeff Pauley and Craig Pauley; and a niece, Melody (Pauley) Morris.

Dwane grew up in Corydon, Iowa, graduating from Seymour High School and then entered the United States Army. After serving in the army, Dwane moved back to Kansas City. Where he was first employed with the Wonder Bread Company before working for Standard Linen. He returned to the Wonder Bread company as a pull up supervisor where he finished his work history, retiring at the age of 65. Dwane enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going camping. He loved traveling and spending time with his grandkids.

Funeral services for Dwane will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, October 30, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan with a visitation one-hour prior, starting at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held 2:30 PM, Friday at the Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, Iowa with Military Rites.
