William Keith “Bill” Drennan Jr

William Keith “Bill” Drennan Jr., 77, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his home.

The son of William Keith and Laura Edith (Scriven) Drennan Sr., he was born August 2, 1943 in Kirksville, Missouri. On June 6, 1969 in Kirksville, Missouri, Bill was united in marriage to Verna Mae Ward.

Bill is survived by his wife Verna of fifty-one years; one daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Jared Morris of Centralia, MO; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carolyn Durham of Kirksville, MO, and Janie and Gordon Durham of Clark, MO; four grandchildren, Laura Shaffer-Drennan and fiancée Coby Gibson of Columbia, MO, and Emilee, Elizabeth and Jasper Morris all of Centralia, MO; four brothers-in-law Robert Mollick of Kirksville, MO, Julian Mollick of Cario, MO, Bob Durham of LaPlata, MO, and William H. (Helen) Ward of Fulton, MO, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Donna McCartney, Jolene Mollick, Patty Mollick, and Nancy Durham.

Bill lived most of his life in Kirksville, Missouri and was a graduate from Kirksville High School. He was employed for a number of prisons ten years as a correction officer in the Jefferson City area. Bill worked twenty plus years as Post Master at the Kirksville Post Office before retiring.

Bill was a devoted member and deacon of the Church of God Holiness in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Church of God Holiness in Kirksville, with Pastor Ralph Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 for one hour before the service at Church of God Holiness.

Pallbearers will be Jared Morris, Billy Wernert, Mike Holt, Justin Williams, Clarence Morris, and Tyler Mollick.
