DEVELOPING: A demonstration is being planned for this afternoon at the Adair County Health Department to protest the department’s contact tracing policy, specifically, the order by the department to prohibit some Kirksville High School student athletes from participating in activities. Three student athletes are currently being prevented from playing. Organizers of the demonstration are concerned about the fairness of the policy in the absence of actually having contracted COVID. The demonstration is set to begin at the Health Department on Jamison Street at 2:00 pm Friday.
