Ruby G. Williams, 91 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Brookfield Life Care Center.
Ruby was born June 22, 1929 in Galt, Missouri to Duane and Lillie (McKay) Ford. She married Robert Leach in Milan, and 6 children were born to this marriage, he preceded her in death in 1969. She later married Jerald Williams, and he survives her of Brookfield, Missouri. Also surviving: a son, Ronald Leach and wife Mimi of Vancouver, Washington; a daughter, Connie McFarland and companion Larry Hines of Milan; grandchildren, Lisa Magaw, Johnathan Leach, Bob Wyant, Jenny Wyant, and Stephanie West; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Chester Ford and wife Teresa of Stanton, Nebraska and Dail Ford of Brookfield; a sister, Mary McNear and husband Aaron of Milan; and several nieces and nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by: Her parents; husband, Robert; Children, Donald Leach in infancy, Linda Leach in infancy, Larry Leach, and Patsy Wyant; brothers, Charles Ford, David Ford, Jackie Ford and Jerry Ford; a sister, Lois Ford; grandchildren, Jeremy Wyant and Nina Gramps; and a great grandchild, Tyvis Wyant.
Ruby lived most of her life in Sullivan County. She worked for many years at F.M. Stamper and later retired when it was ConAgra. Ruby was a collector of dolls and jewelry. She loved all her dogs and spending time with her family.
A graveside service for Ruby will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Schrock Cemetery, Southwest of Milan. There will be no public visitation. Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan is handling arrangements.
