Stacey Bunnell

Stacey Bunnell, 32, of Ottumwa, Iowa, passed away suddenly at Ottumwa Regional Hospital in Ottumwa on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Stacey Elaine Bunnell was born in Centerville, Iowa, on May 20, 1988, the daughter of Charles and Felicia (Garlinghouse) Bunnell. She was reared in Centerville and graduated from Centerville High School. Stacey worked at a few different jobs but mostly was a homemaker. She loved to camp and have cookouts with family. Stacey also had an artistic flair and liked to crochet and color. She had an outgoing character and would light up the room when she entered. Stacey had an easy smile and warm personality. Her favorite canine friend was Sophie.

Stacey is survived by her father, Charles (Violet) Bunnell of Centerville, Iowa, and her mother, Felicia (Tim) Opperman of Cincinnati, Iowa. She is also survived by her fiancé Nicholas Rozenboom, the love of her life, of Ottumwa. Other survivors are brothers Joshawa (Audra) Bunnell of Corydon, Iowa, and Charles Bunnell of Centerville, Iowa; sister Feliciana Bunnell of Illinois; stepbrothers Jared Opperman and Darin Hayes; stepsisters Erica Hayes, Veronica Hayes, and Chelsea Hayes; and Grandmother Sherry McDowell of Exline, Iowa. Stacey is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of cousins.

Those who preceded Stacey in death are grandparents Floyd Bunnell, Darlene Bunnell, and Kathy Rutledge; stepsister Haley Hayes; and stepbrothers Tyler Opperman and Chad Opperman.

Services for Stacey Bunnell will be at Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville, Missouri, at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2020, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Burnett Cemetery.
