MLB POSTSEASON SET… It took until yesterday’s final day of the pandemic-shortened season to complete major league baseball’s playoff picture. The two final spots remaining were in the National League and ended up going to the St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers. The Cardinals played their way into the postseason with a 5-2 win over the Brewers, but Milwaukee gained entry after the Philadelphia Phillies were blanked 5-0 by Tampa Bay and the San Francisco Giants fell 5-4 to San Diego.
