Betty Lou Pauley

Betty Lou Pauley, 82 years old, of Trenton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at North Care Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri.

Betty was born to Elvin and Velma (Myers) Frazier in Pollock, Missouri. She married Dwane Pauley over 60 years ago, he survives her. Also surviving: two sons, Kevin Pauley and wife Kathy of Peculiar, Missouri and Chad Pauley and wife Cathy of Smithville, Missouri; grandchildren, Summer Summers (Brandon), Jennifer Pauley, Christopher Pauley, Mallory Pauley, and Megan Miller (Jordan); great grandchildren, Sierra Pauley, Emma Greathouse, Rylen Miller, Mya Pauley, Mila Miller, and Corbyn Pauley; a sister, Clarice Lawrence and husband Gary of Milan; a sister-in-law, Mary Frazier of Pollock; a brother-in-law, Lavern McNeece of Harrisonville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Robert Frazier and Gene Frazier; and a sister, Sharon McNeece.

Betty graduated from Milan High School. After marrying Dwane, they spent some time in Tacoma, Washington when he was in the military. She lived most of her life in Kansas City, working for Universal Underwriters in Kansas City for over 30 years. After retirement, they moved to Beaver Lake, Arkansas, living there for several years. They have lived for the past 20 years in Trenton.

Betty enjoyed cooking and singing. She also liked playing board games and card games. Betty and Dwane loved travelling and they often spent winters in Texas, went camping many places, and spent a week every year at the State Fair. Betty most loved spending time with her family and having the annual cousin reunion.

Funeral services for Betty will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan with a visitation one hour prior to the service, starting at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday at the Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, Iowa.
