Teddy Lee Ingersoll

Teddy Lee Ingersoll, 87, of Unionville, MO passed away at the Putnam County Memorial Hospital on September 21, 2020.

Ted Ingersoll was born in rural Putnam County, the son of Oscar and Lelah (Scalf) Ingersoll. Ted married Delores Randallon August 23, 1952 and 9 children were born to this union. Ted engaged in multiple adventures, including farming, but mostly enjoyed operating heavy equipment in the mining industry. He was a member of the Unionville United Methodist Church. In his younger years he hunted, fished, and golfed. Later on in life, Ted enjoyed playing pinochle cards and visiting at the PC Café & Resource Center. He enjoyed his cats and a few special dogs, but most of his joy came from being dedicated to his kids and spending time with his grand and great grandkids.

Ted is survived by 9 children, Marieta Robison of Nashville, TN; Ted Ingersoll of Columbia, MO; Randy Ingersoll of Green Castle, MO; Cheri Ingersoll of Salt Lake City, UT; Kenny Ingersoll and wife Rita of Unionville, MO; Mike Ingersoll of Brattleboro, VT; Cindy Bushnell and husband Cary of Green Castle, MO; Chris Kanselaar and husband Don of Centerville, IA; and Joey Ingersoll of Unionville, MO. Ted’s surviving grandchildren are Kyme, Darcy, Shane, Jake, Heather, Kris, Megan, Sam, Brennen, Justin, Brett, and Shelby. Ted is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to Ted’s wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mikey Woodley and sisters, Fern Kellison, Faye Springer, and Doris Smith.

Funeral services will be at the Playle & Collins Funeral Home in Unionville, MO at 11:00 am Friday September 25, 2020. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
