Anita Faye Pipes, 70 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her home.
Anita was born October 29, 1949 in Milan to Dewey and Anna Belle (Warnock) Mason. On June 21, 1968 she married Marvin Pipes, he survives her of the home. She is also survived by: One daughter, Jody and husband Brian Gittings of Milan; grandchildren, Paige Cannon, Tyler DeWitt, Dylan Pipes, and Ryley Head; three great grandchildren, Myles Morehead, Sky Frazier, and Sage Frazier; sisters, Sharon Weaver of Milan, Marilyn McClaran of Kansas City, Missouri, Deanna Mason of Milan, and Shirley Helms of Milan; brothers, Dewey Mason and wife Charlene of Milan, Kenneth Mason and wife Angela of Morganton, North Carolina, and Harvey Mason and wife Norma of Milan; and several nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by: her parents; a son, Rusty Pipes; a brother, Ronnie Mason; a half-brother, Rex Mason; and a nephew, Scotty Weaver.
Anita was a lifelong resident of Milan, graduating from Milan C-2 High School in 1967. She went to work at Banquet Foods until retirement. Anita was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milan and a member of the Master Gardeners. She liked growing flowers, reading, and shopping. She enjoyed photography and loved taking care of all her grandchildren.
Funeral services for Anita will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, September 11, 2020 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at the White Oak Cemetery, South of Milan. A visitation is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday evening, at the funeral home.
