Brayden Point and Kevin Shattenkirk each had two assists. Tampa Bay awaits the winner of the Philadelphia-N.Y. Islanders series.

Colorado 6 – Dallas 3… The Avalanche opened with a five-goal first period and never looked back in downing the Stars to pull within 3-2 in the series. Andre Burakovsky scored two goals and assisted on another. Nathan Mackinnon and Mikko Rantenan each had a goal and an assist. Game 6 is tomorrow.
