NBA Playoffs Sunday 8-23

EASTERN CONFERENCE
Boston 110 – Philadelphia 106… The Celtics turned away the 76ers to complete a first-round sweep. Kemba Walker scored a game-high 32 points. Jayson Tatum had 28 points and 15 rebounds.

Toronto 150 – Brooklyn 122… The Raptors used a big third quarter to put away the Nets and sweep the series. Nathan Powell came off the bench to score 29 points. Fellow reserve Serge Ibaka added 27 points.

WESTERN CONFERENCE
Dallas 135 – L.A. Clippers 133 (OT)… It took a historic performance by Luka Doncic to lift the Mavericks over the Clippers and even the series at 2-2. Doncic knocked down a game-wining step-back 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime and finished with 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists. Game 5 is tomorrow.

Utah 129 – Denver 127… The Jazz shot their way past the Nuggets to take a 3-1 lead in the series. Donovan Mitchell scored 18 of his 51 points in the fourth quarter. Mike Conley tossed in 26 points. Jamal Murray’s 50 points weren’t enough for Denver. Mitchell and Murray became the first opposing players ever to score at least 50 points apiece in an NBA game. Game 5 is tomorrow.
