N.Y. Islanders 4 – Washington 0… Goalie Semyon Varlamov stopped all 21 shots and the Islanders blanked the Capitals to wrap up the series in five games. Anthony Beauvillier found the net twice. Josh Bailey had a goal and two assists.
WESTERN CONFERENCE (in Edmonton)
Dallas 6 – Calgary 3… The Stars skated past the Flames after spotting them an early three-goal lead and captured the series with the Game 6 victory. Denis Gurianov scored three of his four goals during a five-goal second period.
