Mark Twain High School is cancelling its Week One football game Friday. Mark Twain suspended all practices last week after a student athlete tested positive for COVID-19. The team will be able to return to practice Tuesday, but that will not be enough time before Friday’s season opener against South Calloway August 28th. Mark Twain’s Week Two contest against Clopton-Elsberry is being pushed back a day from September 4th to Saturday, September 5th.
