TORONTO 5 – Miami 4 (10 innings)… The Blue Jays recovered to beat the Marlins after blowing a three-run ninth-inning lead in the first major league game in Buffalo since 1915. Travis Shaw singled home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Bo Bichette blasted a three-run homer.

CINCINNATI 6 – Kansas City 5 (10 innings)… Joey Votto came through with a walkoff RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Reds outlasted the Royals. Matt Davidson and Jesse Winker homered for Cincinnati.

N.Y. YANKEES 9 – Atlanta 6… Luke Voit belted a three-run homer, Aaron Judge added a solo shot and the Yankees handled the Braves. Mike Ford went 2-for-4 and knocked in three runs.

Baltimore 10 – PHILADELPHIA 9 (10 innings)… Austin Hays’ two-run homer to lead off the bottom of the 10th inning sent the Orioles past the Phillies. Renato Nunez went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs.

Chi. White Sox 8 – DETROIT 4… Eloy Jimenez’s three-run homer capped a four-run top of the first inning and the White Sox doubled up on the Tigers. Edwin Encarnacion also went deep for Chicago.

Washington 2 – N.Y. METS 1… Max Scherzer (1-1) limited the Mets to a run on six hits over six innings in outdueling counterpart Rick Porcello (1-2). Trea Turner homered and Victor Robles singled in a run for Washington.

Chi. Cubs 7 – CLEVELAND 1… Jason Heyward went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and RBI single as the Cubs cruised past the Indians. Jon Lester (2-0) limited Cleveland to a run on three hits over six innings.

Tampa Bay 8 – BOSTON 2… Mike Brosseau homered to lead off the game and the Rays cruised past the Red Sox. Yandy Diaz and Hunter Renfroe drove in two runs apiece.

MILWAUKEE 6 – Minnesota 4… Jedd Gyorko’s tie-breaking two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning proved to be the difference in the Brewers’ win over the Twins. Manny Pina homered twice and knocked in three runs. Avisail Garcia went 3-for-4 with a solo homer.

COLORADO 8 – Arizona 7… The Rockies scored six times in the bottom of the eighth inning and held on to edge the Diamondbacks. Nolan Arenado homered with a runner aboard. Charlie Blackmon had three hits, including an RBI double, and is batting .500 on the season.

TEXAS 4 – Seattle 2… Nick Solak singled three times and drove in three runs to lead the Rangers past the Mariners.

San Francisco 7 – HOUSTON 6 (10 innings)… Austin Slater singled home Wilmer Flores with the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Giants outlasted the Astros. Hunter Pence cracked a three-run homer. Wilmer Flores smacked solo shot.

L.A. ANGELS 6 – Oakland 0… The Angels got homer runs from David Fletcher, Anthony Rendon, Jason Castro and Brian Goodwin in breezing past the Athletics. Dylan Bundy (3-1) pitched four-hit ball over seven innings and struck out 10. Two relievers completed the shutout.

San Diego 6 – L.A. DODGERS 2… Manny Machado unloaded a grand slam during a five-run top of the third inning and the Padres never looked back in their defeat of the Dodgers. Jurickson Profar added a solo blast. Garrett Richards (1-1) allowed a run on six hits over six innings.
