PHILADELPHIA 13 – Atlanta 8… Didi Gregorius unloaded a grand slam and Bryce Harper belted a three-run homer as the Phillies outslugged the Braves. Aaron Nola (1-1) held Atlanta to a run on two hits and struck out 10 over the first eight innings.

Washington 16 – N.Y. METS 4… Asdrubal Cabrera went 4-for-4 with a pair of homers, two doubles and five RBIs in leading the Nationals in their drubbing of the Mets. Trea Turner and Juan Soto also went deep.

DETROIT 5 – Chi. White Sox 1… JaCoby Jones legged out an inside-the-park homer with a runner aboard as the Tigers cruised past the White Sox for their fourth straight win.

Tampa Bay 8 – BOSTON 7… Matt Margot went 4-for-4 and doubled home the decisive run in the top of the eighth inning to push the Rays past the Red Sox. Kevin Kiermaier stroked a two-run double.

Minnesota 4 – MILWAUKEE 2… Eddie Rosario connected for a grand slam in the top of the third inning and the Twins held off the Brewers. Randy Dobnak (3-1) surrendered a run on four hits over five innings.

Arizona 12 – COLORADO 8… Kole Calhoun had a couple of hits, including a homer and three RBIs, in leading the Diamondbacks past the Rockies. David Peralta went 4-for-5 with two RBIs.

Seattle 10 – TEXAS 2… Kyle Lewis and Kyle Seager blasted three-run homers as the Mariners pounded the Rangers. Dylan Moore went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs.

HOUSTON 6 – San Francisco 4… Michael Brantley and Carlos Correa knocked in two runs apiece as the Astros held off the Giants.

San Diego 2 – L.A. DODGERS 1… Eric Hosmer singled home Grisham with a tie-breaking run in the top of the sixth inning and the Padres made it stand in edging the Dodgers. Six pitchers combined on a four-hitter.

L.A. ANGELS 10 – Oakland 9… The Angels erased a 9-4 fourth-inning deficit on their way to handing the Athletics their first loss in 10 games. Mike Trout belted a pair of homers, including a tie-breaking solo shot in the bottom of the eighth inning. L.A. also got homers from Anthony Rendon and Shohei Ohtani. Oakland’s Matt Chapman homered twice and drove in six runs in the loss.
