Florida 3 – N.Y. Islanders 2… Brian Boyle and Mike Hoffman scored 2:47 apart in the third period and the Panthers pulled within 2-1 in the series.

Arizona 4 – Nashville 1… The Coyotes scored three third-period goals to pull away from the Predators and take a 2-1 lead in the series. Taylor Hall had a goal and an assist.

Tampa Bay 3 – Boston 2… Tyler Johnson scored the decisive goal with 1:27 remaining and had an assist as the Lightning moved to 2-0 in the Eastern Conference’s three-game round robin. Alex Killorn also had a goal and an assist.

Colorado 4 – Dallas 0… Pavel Francouz stopped all 27 shots as the Avalanche blanked the Stars in the Western Conference round robin. Andre Burakovsky and Joonas Donskoi each had a goal and an assist. Erik Johnson set up two goals.

Montreal 4 – Pittsburgh 3… The Canadiens came from two goals down in the second period to upend the Penguins and take a 2-1 lead in the series. Paul Byron netted the game-winner with 4:10 remaining. Paul Byron had a goal and an assist. Ben Chiarot assisted on two goals.

Chicago 4 – Edmonton 3… Jonathan Toews’ second goal of the game came with 1:27 left to lift the Blackhawks over the Oilers for a 2-1 lead in the series. Connor Murphy scored a tie-breaking goal with 1:16 left. Matthew Highmore and Olli Maata each had a goal and an assist.
