NHL STANLEY CUP QUALIFIERS
Carolina 4 – N.Y. Rangers 1… Sebastian Aho scored two of his team’s three third-period goals and the Hurricanes put away the Rangers to complete a sweep of the best-of-five series.

N.Y. Islanders 4 – Florida 2… Jordan Eberle netted a pair of goals, including the tie-breaker, as the Islanders doubled up on the Panthers to take a 2-0 lead in the series. 

Nashville 4 – Arizona 2… Ryan Johansen had a goal and an assist as the Predators downed the Coyotes to even the series at a game apiece. 

Toronto 3 – Columbus 0… Goalie Frederik Andersen stopped all 20 shots and the Maple Leafs shut out the Blue Jackets to bring the series even after two games. Auston Matthews had a goal and an assist.

Calgary 6 – Winnipeg 2… Sean Monahan scored a goal and assisted on two others as the Flames skated past the Jets to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Mikael Backlund, Johnny Gaudreau and Elias Lindholm each had a goal and an assist. 

Vancouver 4 – Minnesota 3… The Canucks fought off the Wild to even the series at a game apiece. J.T. Miller had a goal and an assist.
